Happy CHINESE New Year!

Ok so first, Happy CNY. Hope you had a nice time, and got a lot of money, good fortune, etc, etc.I have like, a few hundred, which is fine with me. My vacation basically consists of... classes, classes, homework, watching TV, computer, playing ping-pong, horse back riding, and also doing absolutely nothing. I just came back from AXs house, where we were drinking pearl tea, playing Da Lao Er (or Just Chinese Poker) and eating biscuits. Well, I was eating biscuits. I don't know about Panny, he doesn't really care about food. Sigh. I ate a lot.

In fact maybe too much. That's probably the reason why I feel a bit sick now. Oh and my mom's offering her cream cake that she just made. Sorry mom, I think it'll have to wait until tomorrow. So what's tomorrow's schedule? Hmm...

What a dull schedule. You might notice that breakfast isn't on there. No that does not mean that I'm dieting and becoming anorexic. It's simply that I feel so full I don't know if I'll eat tomorrow morning. If I do feel better though then i'll eat breakfast. Sigh, I'm such a glutton. (yes I admit it.)

Btw, did you know that breakfast just means, Break + Fast? It's like to stop fasting (aka, dieting) Hmm strange.

I'm a teensy bit worried about Thailand. Especially since New Cripple was like the best person on our team and now he can't go. AX just said that they're counting on me to be the geometric genius because I'm the only one who knows sine, cosine, and tangents. Double sigh. Oh just pressure me why don't you. Though to tell the truth, I don't feel that pressured. It's 27 days away after all. I'll start feeling pressured when we get there. For now I'm just going to sit back and try to get this sickness away.

Ok, so instead of posting a comment to answer all the other comments, I thought well why not just post it all? Since people seem to read posts more then comments...

So firstly, I'll just say that the jellyfish were like.. what, microscopic? Their stings feel like needles going through your skin, which hurts, but does not kill you. So don't worry AA, I'm perfectly fine. Of course, being attacked by a swarm of them REALLY hurt, but hey no worries.

Secondly, sorry JZ! You are so my friend, it's just that I'm so used to thinking that JB's the oldest! Here I'm redoing that part:

Happy New Year! And yes, I'm back from Indonesia. I got stung/attacked by jellyfish, rode on elephants, when diving, snorkeling, slept, ate, looked at fish and turtles, played beach volleyball, saw chickens fight, and nearly got attacked by a carnivorous fish. Oh yay.

Stupid Dulwich Idol...

Grrrr, why did I sign up for Dulwich Idol? It's nothing but trouble, I mean seriously. Any suggestions for which song? I've decided to not go worrying about the song, and that I'll just randomly choose at the last moment. Still, it's usually better to be prepared. And if I suck on stage (which I probably will) then I won't make it through the audition and it'll be all the better for me.

I should NEVER have went to the Dulwich House Idol corner. I just went there to see what song Fabio was going to do (since he kept on saying at the bus that he'll do the Dulwich Idol) and stopped to talk to Emma (also participating). And oh and behold, she begs me to do the Dulwich Idol as well. And I sign up. Though I guess really, it's just because I'm not really good at saying no to puppy dog faces. And my mom begged me to do it as well....no not begging. Wrong word. I should say THREATENING. Fits much better. She's been trying to get me to do the Dulwich Idol for ages now. So I thought, ok hit 2 birds with one stone. Quiet my mom and Emma. And I probably won't get through the audition anyway.

Sigh...

And Obama's President of the U.S now. Can't say I feel much for that. My dad likes Obama and my mom hates him. She likes McCain. Either way, a victory in my house. My dad's thinking of buying a new computer for us... My mom's annoyed, she's not baking anything these days. She says america's screwed.

Ok, now I'm air crazy as you see. I've just been to LA's post about elements in different languages and JB's post about how fire is the best. So yes, I'm busy defending air here. Oh and violin. SJ was insulting the violin and Latios and I are now beating him up and telling him that he's in Violin territory. So he's ran over to Neutral Territory. JB, who also thinks Violin is sad, as ran over to clarinet territory. However now she's united with us as we've changed our name to Cello Territory. Since the Cello is the BEST, along with Violin.

Mr. M's given me this poster for a classical guitar concert by Maria Esther Guzman from spain. Which is a month away. I don't thin my guitar skills are that good.

Now Mr. R's reading out the news. There's a halloween dance on Friday. Me and Jaybee want to go to the dance ( who knows it might be fun) but LA and AA don't want to go. And if they don't go then well ... there's not much point is there?

Now I'm just thinking of GCSE. We only have an year after all. What should I choose? Maths, English, Science, of course, Mandarin (Languages) , Music (Arts) , History (Humanities), and... something optional. Which I have yet to decide. Spanish? Art? Geo? Those are the one's I'm considering...

SPANISH. Don't really like Mr. E, but I like Spanish. Sigh... Now we're doing fashion Brochure...

ART. I like Art, so I would like to do it for Optional. BUt I HATE art analysis.

GEO. It's Interesting. Mr. S is just extremely dull. But oh well.

Well, I'm going to Guizhou tomorrow, so I thought I'd publish one last post.

Violin and Piano... going pretty well. My violin's gotten a lot better, my mom's surprisingly happy about that.

Home classes.... also ok.

School Report ... pretty good.

Math Test ... very good! I'm happy about my result.

Guitar.... I have mixed feelings about this. I might as well just quit guitar. After all, my teacher's just attempted s- ... nevermind.

But I'll just be happy that I'm going to Guizhou. Going to guizhou. Yay!

I've been checking the manga updates and I have to say...

Naruto - Boring, never liked it much anyway

Bleach- Soi Fon is SO going to beat that espada up. She has to. I won't stand for it if she doesn't.

Bakuman- Pretty good. I'll be waiting for further Chapters.

D. Gray- man - Just get to the action already!

Psyren- Good. This has got to be my favorite so far.

Now I'm listening to the violin version of Mozart Sonata KV301. It's pretty good, but the violinist is like showing no emotion. It's sort of weird...

Stupid Dentist, stupid teeth, stupid braces, stupid-ok I'll stop now

I have braces. Blue ones. Tiny metal chips all lined up on my upper teeth.

It sucks.

You'd think that I'd have time to get used to it (I got it on Sunday), but it still feels very... strange.

I guess I'll just talk about the day I got it.

We left at 2:00. Our appointment was at 3, but my mom wanted to go early in case I was late. Which was very unnecessary, as I arrived there at 2:30.

I didn't have any lunch, because I woke up at like 10 and wasn't hungry, but my mom wanted me to eat something so she went out to buy some bread, etc. Though really, it turned out THAT wasn't necessary either.

The dentist called me to come, and I went to sat down in the scary dentist chair. He lowered the chair down, gave my teeth a check, and then proceeded with the braces.

He stuck this huge plate thing filled with what looked like orange play-doh into my mouth. My fricking mouth. And it hurt. Then he waited a few seconds, and took it out. Apparently it molded into the shape of my teeth.

Please let that not be playdoh.

Then he told me to open my mouth, which I did, and then he stuck this huge weird contraption into my mouth which made me hold it as big as I can. After that he stuck those dental tools and dried my mouth completely, apparently, 'cleaning' it.

His assistant took out what looked like this weird syringe thing (as in for shots) and I panicked. Were they going to give me a shot in my mouth?!

Then the dentist told me that it wasn't for shots it was just for putting glue onto my teeth. It wasn't going to hurt at all.

Phew.

After putting the glue on most of my teeth on the front row, he showed me a bag of colorful rubber bands for the braces. I chose blue. Black looked like cavities and red looked like blue. I didn't want green on my teeth, and I though silver and white a bit boring. So yeah.

He (the dentist) starting fixing up the bands onto the metal chips and asked his assistant for what looked like more glue stuff. Then they'd put glue on it, and stick it on my teeth. Just as they finished, I was happily praying to God that I could take the contraption out of my mouth because it was really stretching it.

Unfortunately they told me that I had to sit, with my mouth open, on the chair for 20 minutes. I wanted to murder them. 20 frickin minutes! But I sat there anyway.

After 20 LONG minutes they took the contraption mouth, which felt like heaven. The dentist grabbed out a packet and opened it. He slid out what looked like.... long, sharp, metal needles. Oh please no, I thought, let they NOT be sticking those into my mouth.

It turned out that they were the wires for the braces. I watched anxiously, as he curved the wire around the now dried play-doh mold (so that's what it was for!) and when it was ready, curved it around my teeth through the metal chips.

The afterwards affect felt strange. I couldn't really talk, and the dentist said that I could eat nuts, hard stuff, or very sticky and chewy stuff. That meant no hard dark chocolate. Sigh.

And that was how the dentist appointment went.

My mom went to buy some expensive dental equipment, while my brother screamed in my ear, saying that he wanted to go to the Hot Springs.

And now i can hardly eat.

みなさん、こんにちわ！

Yeah, the above is japanese. Why did I put it up there? Because a certain 馬鹿 has taught me how to type in japanese and now I'm having fun just randomly typing. So you'll have to put up with random japanese.

Anyway, yes I haven't updated for some time, but that's just because keeping a blog is real hard.

Now we're starting school again, and I'm pretty happy about that. Anymore time just staying at my grandparent's house would've been very つまんない. Nanjing was ok, we went to some sort of historical park. My mom knew it very well, apparently she spent all of her field trips there. Poor her. Though it was pretty interesting.

School was... normal. I guess. First was 理科, which was more or less normal. I miss my old teacher, but Mr. W is actually pretty fun. Then was Math where we had the てすと. LA got full marks, and I got two wrong. Apparently she's changed the marking scheme for this year. Anything with pingying gets a mark taken off. Sigh.... how things change.

After that was Geo, where we were working on the Alps. AND where that なまけもの, Oliver, did NOTHING. English was ok. We just read more of that "The Inspector Calls." Play.

Period 5 was 音楽 class, yay! Unfortunately I got a lot of theory 宿題. The good thing is that Mr. M asked me to join this guitar group thing, which was ok with me.

Then last period, さんすう. Arghh, that lesson was SO tiring. I couldn't find my calculator, so I ran to my locker, but I couldn't find it there , so I went to the Music Room. Since it wasn't there EITHER, I had to go back to class without it.

And I think that should be it....

Things I've done on this Holiday...

Great, 4 days of holiday to go. My parents are telling me to go to bed now, so this is going to be short.
Right now we're in Yangzhou, in my grandparent's house. I'll just summarize everything we've done in the last 2 days.

Tuesday: Went to Shanghai Technology Museum with my cousins, (I'll just call them ZX and ZL) who come from my father's side of the family. It was extremely crowded, and we had to keep pushing through crowd after crowd. SO annoying. ZL was taking so many pictures, while ZX kept running off. Then he'd get lost and we'd have to find him. Sigh. The only fun thing was watching the 3D Film, Deep in the Ocean. At least we got to see 3D Sharks and cool mantay rays swimming around us in the theatre. Oh, and the jellyfish. There were lots of jellyfish.
After that was the Aquarium, which is pretty funny when you think of the fact that we just watched a video about the ocean. I went there tons of times before, so it wasn't that fun. Except in the shark tunnel (yes sharks again) when me and ZX were pointing everywhere, shouting to ZL, "Yeah over there, take a picture! Hurry, hurry! Great now behind you. No, on top! No over there! Over there!"
Yeah you get the idea.
Then we came home, tired out.

Wednesday: We were supposed to go to the zoo, but we decided to go to Zhong Shan Park instead. Over there we went on the rollercoaster, played badminton, blew bubbles....and climbed trees. Yes you heard me right. Climbed trees. There was this really big one (about the height of a building with 3 floors) with lots of thick branches, so I climbed to the top and sat there for a while. It was a great view. Unfortunately when I was coming back down I accidently scratched myself, and now there's this big ugly scratch on my right arm. After that we ate some stuff from the food stall and walked back home. Then I just practiced my violin, and did some more boring stuff.
And that's it I guess. My parents are getting real annoyed now, so I'll just stop here.

I just got scouted...weird

Well, I've just finished practicing my violin, and my mom is now complaining to me, asking me how on earth could she wait for 2 years to just hear some decent music from my violin! Geez and I thought I was actually doing a pretty good job for someone who's just been learning for 3 weeks! Oh well, at least I've got my guitar.

I woke up at 8 today, that's the only good thing about this holiday. The fact that I can sleep in for as long as I want.

At 1, my mom, grandpa, and me went to Carrefour. Me, to get some posted notes for D.T, my mom to get some groceries, and my grandpa... to buy a washing machine.

While I was checking out some school stuff, a lady just came up to me saying (in chinese of course), "Hello, I'm from the Cosmetics Company, Mary Kay. We're holding a survey about what girls from age 13- 18 buy the most." Etc, etc. You get the drill. I answered the questions, and she asked more. It was just the end that surprised me. She handed me a business card and told me, "Thank you for your assistance. You know we've always needed new models. Here's our card, call if you're up to it." Then she smiled and left.

Weird.

That makes it a total of 3 times that a person has asked me to model. 2 times of when I was 4 and in New York.

Now I'm listening to "The Swan" by Saint Saens. I found it in the manga La Corda D'Oro. It's a cello piece. Yo yo ma's playing it. At first I had no idea who he was. So I asked my mom,

Me: Mom, who's Yo Yo Ma?

Mom: You mean Ma Yo Yo?

Me: Same thing.

Mom: Yes, he's that famous Cellist who lives right next door to Serina. (A friend in NYC)

Me: WHAT?!

Well that's New York to you. Heck, there was a famous comedian who lived on the floor above, and a singer who lived right next to us!

Sigh, it really is weird. And I'm really bored. I don't get the D.T HW...

Violin +Guitar+Piano lessons=... Total Exhaustion

I've just finished dinner, it was so good. My grandpa is such a good cook. And it helps that I'm really hungry, since I didn't eat lunch. Why? Well...

... I had a Violin Lesson at 1:00, a piano lesson at 1:30, and a guitar lesson at 3:00, so I wanted to go practice my piano (I don't have a piano at home. It takes up too much space, and it's too much trouble to get one). I left at 12:00 and skipped lunch.

I was pretty nervous, seeing as I didn't practice my piano and I only practiced my violin 3 times this week. Thankfully I got through with Straight As (Phew!) Then for guitar I was practicing "Wake me up when September Ends" by Green Day, which was actually pretty easy. I take part in a band that my guitar teacher made. We've only had one concert so far. There's going to be a band performance sometime in October so I needed to learn 2 other songs as well ( I don't know which ones).

The violin is so tiring. I've only been learning it for 3 weeks. Still, I LOVE the sound of it, so I'm trying hard on it. Piano's also fun, but reading the notes are really annoying. I'm bad at harmony. At least in Violin it's easier to read.

9 days of no school. I must say, it seems very boring. I'm going to Nanjing for 2 days, it's going to be the only traveling I'll do this week. Still I might as well relax while I can.

Oh, they updated D. Gray- Man and Bakuman. Hmm... doesn't seem very interesting. When will the Noah Clan show up again? I like them more then the exorcists. I guess I'll just do my homework now. Where's that Mandarin Workbook?

Yay, it's the Holidays! (Sarcasm, sarcasm)

Hi, the name's Michelle, or Bloody Aerona as you can see from the web address. Don't ask why I chose it. I just liked the sound of it. I live in shanghai, and my birthday's in December.

I love manga/anime and my current obsessions are Rhode of D. Gray-man, Prince of Tennis, and Megumi in Special A. I also like music and can play 3 instruments. I have 3 best friends, Juliet Benjamyn, Literacy Actress, and Arts Addict.

Anyway, it's 11 p.m now and I'm not sleepy at all. Well that's probably because I slept for 3 hours straight when I came home, so who cares.

Starting tomorrow it's the holidays, I'm not really excited or anything since I still have all my music, math, mandarin, classes to go to. That reminds me, I have my chinese and math to do. Dang it.

Today was... ok. First was games, which was boring. The rules in Rugby make no sense whatsoever. I wish we had Mr. Casson back.

For period 2, we had the very scary, fearsome, and monstrous, Spanish Test. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, but still scary. Latios kept on banging his head on his locker door saying "WHY? DAMN YOU MR. (Anonymous), I MUST FEEL PAIN!". Then, after feeling the pain he, in a very pathetic way, whimpered "Ow."

Sigh.

As for Shinigami James, he went like, "You call that pain?" And he, also very stupidly, banged HIS head into HIS locker door even harder then Latios. Then he collapsed onto the floor, also whimpering. Afterwards, he went on cursing Mr. (Anonymous) and praying to the Foosball Lord, who apparently, lives in the south.

Double sigh.

At break time I bought a small beef pie for 10 RMB. 10 RMB! 10 RMB? 10 fricken RMB! And the pie's like only 5 cm in diameter! What the heck is wrong with the school? SAS sells it for 2 RMB. 2!

Still it tastes really good.

Then there was Geography. Literacy Actress, Oliver , and me were working on our presentation on the Alps. Well actually Oliver was playing some online game called Halo and Megan and I were doing all the work.

In PSHE we had free time, and Art Addict, as the REALLY NICE person that she is, helped me get an account on Blog spot.

After that was the Science Test. EASY.

Chinese Class. Workbook. Boring.

Ping En wasn't on the bus this afternoon, leaving me with Rose and Bridget. And I must say, if I was like THEM when I was little, I'm surprised that no one every tried to strangle me.

I'm serious.

Then the 3 hours nap, and after that the Bus Number 3 Traditional Reunion. Though really, most of the time I was just watching Ping En and Panny playing boring Halo. That and beating up Panny. The good thing was that Ping En bought Milk Tea! I love Milk Tea!

And that pretty much concludes today.
